Academic Services: Digital projects manager

Description:

The person selected will join the UOC's Academic Services department as a digital projects manager.

 
Responsibilities
 

  • Planning and coordinating various digital transformation projects relating to the digitalization of procedures and academic records.
  • Identifying and analysing functional needs.
  • Analysing data and indicators to enable the most appropriate solutions for each case to be proposed.
  • Defining functional requirements and making proposals that ensure the correct execution of the process and students' satisfaction.
  • Performing functional acceptance tests of developments in the relevant environments.

The person selected will be awarded an open-ended full-time contract, and should be available to start work immediately.

The workplace will be in Barcelona. However, because of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the person selected will work from home until the situation has improved.

What we are looking for:

  • A university degree, preferably in a technological field.
  • At least 3 years' experience working in digital projects or e-administration.
  • User-level office application skills.
  • English language skills to at least CEFR level B2, i.e. First Certificate equivalent.
  • Oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and Catalan.
  • Talent for coordination and good interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational, analytical and teamwork abilities.
  • Autonomy and orientation towards client satisfaction and results.

We also value:

  • Previous experience in the university academic sphere.
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to universities and professional training.
  • Knowledge of the framework for the processes of approving, tracking and modifying official university programmes.
  • Knowledge of the UOC's educational model.
