Academic Services: Web project and content manager

Description:

The successful applicant will join the UOC's Academic Services department as a web project and content manager. Their mission will be to manage web content and steer the communication plans associated with the following projects:


• Online final tests, January and June 2022
• UOC digital assessment model projects
• UOC final projects communication model
• The integration of UOCx with UOC standards
• Integration of new LMS/UOC Campus


Responsibilities:

• Steering and participating in projects to enhance the sustainability of the University's student-focused web sections and apps with user-centred design methodologies.
• Designing, planning, creating and publishing informative content in the UOC's Virtual Campus environment.
• Maintaining and editing web content, and making changes to the Virtual Campus so as to improve its understandability and usefulness.
• Updating activity-related data and indicators.

The successful candidate will be awarded an open-ended, full-time contract. Scheduled start date: December 2021.

The workplace will be in Barcelona. However, because of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the person selected will work from home until the circumstances change.

What we are looking for:

• Undergraduate degree in Journalism or Audiovisual Communication.
• Knowledge of HTML and website design.
• At least 3 years' experience in content creation and management for different channels.
• At least 3 years' experience working in web project management.
• Oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and Catalan.
• Advanced internet user with a good grasp of its latest trends.
• User-level office application skills.
• Good writing and summarizing skills.
• Good interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
• A high level of initiative, and organization and teamwork skills.

We also value:

• Master's degree or postgraduate qualification associated with the position.
• English language skills of at least CEFR level B2, i.e. First Certificate equivalent.
• Knowledge of other languages.
• Knowledge of the UOC's educational model.
