IN3: BCN-UOC Chair project Researcher Assistant

The selected person will join as a Research Assistant in the project “BCN-UOC Chair in Digital Economics: for a collaborative economy focused on the well-being of people and the right to the city” of the DIMMONS research group of the 'IN3 of the University.

The mission of the BCN-UOC Chair is to promote strategic actions, connections, work dynamics and instruments to encourage public policies and the ecosystem of cities to meet the challenges of the platform economy and take advantage of the its opportunities, for its development and democratization from action research, co-creation of public policies, business drive, and training. This chair is attached to the Management of the Area of Economy, Resources and Economic Promotion (Directorate of Cooperative, Social and Solidarity Economy Services and Food Policy), in addition, and will actively participate in the Management of Urbanism, Barcelona Activa (Operational Directorate of Socioeconomic Innovation) and the Municipal Management (Directorate of Gender Transversality), among others.


With direct dependence on the Principal Investigator of the project, the following tasks must be carried out:
- Purchasing and other management
- Support in the logistics of meetings and events
- Support in the management of applications for financing
- Support in the care and management of the team
- Support in updating publications and CVs
- Support in the management of translations and revisions of texts

A 1-year contract will be made for 25% of the full day (38.5 hours/week) with a forecast of incorporation on January 3, 2022.
The reference job will be the headquarters of the UOC in Poblenou, Barcelona (District 22@), with an agreed telework.
