Personnel: Personnel administrative assistant


The person selected will join the UOC's Personnel department as an administrative assistant.

  • Payroll management.
  • Managing and processing of employment contract-related documentation.
  • Administrating the process as people join and leave.
  • Providing members of staff with documentation.
  • Answering queries at a preliminary stage.
  • Providing support in the department's administrative tasks.

Three candidates will be selected: two will be awarded open-ended contracts and one a fixed-term contract. The people selected will work full-time and should be available to start immediately.

The workplace will be in Barcelona. However, because of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the people selected will work from home until the situation has improved.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Higher Level Vocational Training Qualification in Administration.
  • At least 2 years' proven professional experience in a similar position.
  • User-level office software skills.
  • English language skills to at least CEFR level B2, or First Certificate equivalent.
  • Oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and Catalan.
  • Organizational, negotiation and teamwork abilities.

We also value:

  • Experience in the university sector.
  • Knowledge of the UOC's educational model.
